Liquid argon is a cryogenic liquid, defined as liquefied gases with an initial boiling point below -130degF (-90degC). Liquid argon has an extremely low boiling point of -303degF (-186.6degC), creating an extreme temperature difference between its product and surrounding environment even during wintertime, necessitating special equipment designed to store and handle cryogenic liquids such as this one.

DSW cryogenic tank trailers deliver bulk liquid argon either to large cryogenic bulk storage vessels or to smaller MicroBulk tanks at customer sites.
For smaller requirements, pre-filled liquid cylinders are a versatile supply option. Argon can be dispensed from liquid cylinders in either gas or liquid phase.

The 20-foot ISO framework type tank container is applicable to Intermodal transportation. Marine, highway, and railroad transportation. With its overall dimensions conforming to the ISO standards, the tank container has a rating for as high as 9 high stacking loaded.
Applications:
1. Welding & Metal Fabrication
Argon is used to an inert shield gas to enhance arc stability and characteristics of gas metal arc welding. It is also the primary gas for the Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) process.
2. Aerospace & Aircraft
Argon is a versatile industrial gas used in welding applications, such as the welding of specialty alloys, and in the production of light bulbs and lasers. As an inert gas, it can also be used to provide an oxygen- and nitrogen- free environment for heat treating processes.
3. Automotive & Transportation Equipment
Argon is used in combination with other gases to weld auto parts, frames, mufflers and other automotive parts. It also provides an oxygen and nitrogen-free environment for annealing processes and is an essential component in airbags.
4. Metal Production
Used to maintain temperature and consistency of composition, argon prevents oxidation during processing. It also flushes out carbon monoxide and reduces chromium losses during the Argon-Oxygen Decarburization stainless steel refining process.
