A seamless alloy cylinder can be made by sealing aluminum tube both ends. The seamless aluminum tube is plastic at high temperatures, so it can be rolled repeatedly in the radial- and longitudinal-direction of the rotating wheel. This allows for a continuous shrinkage and thickening of its diameter.
