Ethylene Tanks

Ethylene tanks are the cryogenic vessels that are used to store liquefied ethylene. Cryogenic tanks are also utilized for storing gases like liquefied natural gas, liquid nitrogen, helium, argon, nitrous oxide at low temperatures.

Applications of Ethylene
C2H4, the most important building element in the petrochemical industry, is the primary component. It is used to produce polyethylene, ethylene Dichloride, Styrene and glycols, among other products.

STORAGE AND HANDING
Ethylene, which is liquid, is stored at extremely low temperatures (-103degC). Cryogenic tanks have become common. Pipelines are commonly used to transport C2H4. Trucks are also used to transport liquid Ethylene. These tanks can be made from stainless steel, carbon steel, or both for low temperatures.

Our team of technicians, drivers and customer service staff are ready to provide you with competitive prices and reliable delivery of Ethylene tanks, as well as friendly service and a team of highly experienced technicians and drivers.

All accessories such as safety fittings and valves are included with the tanks.
Type: horizontal and vertical
MOC: Low temperature Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel
Design code: ASME Sect. VIII Div. 1 or 2, AD Merkblatter PD5500 TEMA DOT and many more
The ethylene tanks are either vacuum insulated or Puf insulated with a 20 gauge aluminium sheet barrier. Liquid Ethylene Transfer Pump with Pipeline for loading and unloading Liquid Ethylene to and from customer storage tanks. Process piping, valves and fittings. Differential Pressure liquid level indicator. Safety valves are provided with an isolation or diverter as a tank essential for safety.

Different sizes are available for the vacuum-insulated liquid Ethylene storage tank. Inner and outer tanks are made of stainless steel, with perlite and vacuum in the annular space.

The large liquid ethylene tanks are designed with a single-wall flat bottom without a roof. Outer tank has a flat bottom, and the Roof is supported by a domed roof of steel on the outer tank walls, along with a suspended deck to provide insulation.

Transport Tank for liquid ethylene.
As per the norms, these tanks are equipped as standard with safety fittings and accessories such as unloading pumps, valves and other accessories. Tanks are available in different sizes ranging from 5kl up to 50kl. The tank is equipped with a 200 mm thick PUF to prevent liquid evaporation.

Transport of liquid ethylene in large quantities is carried out by a low-pressure transport tank system, which uses insulated tanks. The main part of the vehicle is insulated vessels with codes, which are similar to storage vessels and have dimensions that suit a particular vehicle model. The valves, safety fittings and liquid transfer pumps are all housed in a lockable cabin at the back. All the necessary documentation and approvals are provided, including mounting arrangements to obtain statutory approval from road transport authorities. Capacity ranges between 1 MT and 25 MT, depending on customer requirements and vehicle models selected.

CRYOGENIC PUMPS

DSW offers a full line of Cryogenic pumps for Oxygen/Nitrogen/Argon Liquid from the cryogenic tank is compressed to high pressure in a cryogenic liquid pump. It is then vaporised in an ambient air vaporiser to produce gaseous oxygen/Nitrogen/Argon. The high-pressure gas then can pass into cylinders via the gas manifold or fed into a customer’s product pipeline.
